DO YOU SET ASIDE TIME TO DO THE THINGS YOU ENJOY?
Nowadays, so much is expected of us on and offline, it’s not surprising we sometimes feel overwhelmed and angry and resentful. We’re constantly fitting in too much in our lives and often feel something’s missing. What happened to our dreams and goals?
Nothing, they’re still there deep inside us and waiting to be fulfilled. People often say they never get the time to do the things they love and want, because they must do what’s expected of them first.
NOW IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. MAKE EACH DAY COUNT AND LIVE IN THE PRESENT.
THE FUTURE WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF.
Ask yourself what makes you happy and doesn’t. Do you engage with people and things that you no longer enjoy, because you think it’s expected of you? Time is precious. Look at the time you spend each day on the same things and decide if you want to continue like that or change something. Life quality is more important than cramming in too many things every day that we no longer care about and enjoy. Don’t waste more time on the same routine, unless it contributes to your life and makes you happy.
It’s the same with people. Some are more important to us than others. Ask yourself what they bring to your life and who saps your energy with very little in return. It’s hard to stop caring about someone even if they don’t care about you but necessary to move on to better things and people.
Do one thing every day that means something to you. Not to others but only you.
It’ll help you to clarify what you want from your life and give you a better insight into how much time you’ve wasted on things that don’t contribute to Your life.
It’s okay to be scared of new things and challenges but not okay if they prevent us from getting the best life.
